I grew up in England and moved to Houston, TX with my family. After meeting my husband, Chris, in Texas, we moved to Washington State to be near his large extended family and raised our two sons in the Stanwood area.
As a family, we embraced travel over the years and made ‘experiences’ a financial priority while our sons were at home. After our sons left for college, Chris and I downsized and moved to Anacortes on beautiful Fidalgo Island. Since this move, my husband has become an avid sailor and we enjoy sailing in the San Juan and Gulf Islands.
My husband and I both make time to be in the mountains - him to rock, mountain and ice climb, me to hike. I have reached my goal of hiking at least 200 miles a summer for many years now, hiking primarily in the North and Central Cascades. My ‘bucket-list' trips have included long distance hut-to-hut hiking in the Italian Dolomites and on the Tour du Mt Blanc.
My previous career as a Registered Dietitian in a Neonatal ICU developed many of the skills I now use as a financial planner, specifically, earning people's trust, providing education, gathering data, conducting analysis, and developing plans that lead to positive outcomes.
As a financial planner, I take pride in developing meaningful relationships with my clients, and helping you achieve financial goals. I look forward to working with you and helping you navigate the often complex world of personal finance.
